Again this week I received a desperate call from a lovely Seller.... 
My heart just bleeds for these people. She's hooked up with a REALTOR® that doesn't call and doesn't perform as we should.
He's too wrapped up in his own problems and is sharing his woes with his client. This could create a swarm of trouble, resulting in you losing a listing!
Is that what we should do? Absolutely NOT!
Are these the agents that cause us to be associated with used car salespersons? Absolutely.
In this trying time we all need to make an extra effort for our Sellers and Buyers...... Listen to them... Contact them, let them know what's going on. They deserve special treatment.
After all they are our bread and butter!

Fran, that is the number one complaint against Realtors they don't talk to their sellers.

Fran this Realtor is also probably one of the ones out there crying that business is slow and that they can't sell anything. Hummmmmmmmmm I wonder why ........ LOL

And I don't know how many times I've heard that one too. While it may be hard to talk to your sellers right now, they know it's slow and that times may be hard, they just want to know you're still alive and that you care! I really feel for the poor seller who's agent I was just working with... I brought them a buyer and an offer- only their agent wouldn't communicate in any sort of a timely fashion and by the time they got back with me- FOUR days after the seller signed, we had already found another house and negotiated and signed a contract with them! Had the original agent got us that paperwork when the seller signed it, we would have never even gone looking any further! I just wish I could let the seller know what a true dis-service their agent did for them. Instead, I'm sure he just blamed it on us and the "crazy buyers." And we wonder why Realtors get such a bad name?!
