Utterly Ice in Kansas City

12/12/07 U[date: Time for digging out

Guess what.........it's nearly noon and it's STILL raining and ice is accumulating steadily.

*Update: We kept our electricity all through the night. I don't think there is a school in the city that is open. Currently at 7 AM we're at 34 degrees but they are expecting that to drop. We're suppose to receive freezing rain into the afternoon. Luckily we do not have to go anywhere and will just be staying here at home.

Update#2: Here are a couple of pictures from our deck

Update #3:  I removed the Utterz holiday card because it was uttering some others. :)

Fran, stay warm and safe. I've been watching this on the news and it's just awful! I like your utterz!

Fran I will take the snow over the ice anytime.  I hope you do not have a repeat of what you went through 5 years ago!!!!  Stay off the streets and keep safe.

Fran - Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.  It's 41 here now, and that's chilly enough for me.

George:  No kidding on the snow over ice, nothing is safe on ice!

Rich:  What an honor to have you post!  Yes Sir, I'm working out of the house!

Tom: I'd take 41 any day!

Thanks you all for stopping by!

Fran, stay warm and keep the water dripping.  You don't need any frozen pipes.

Thanks Kathy.....you are absolutely right, I don't need any frozen pipes!

Thanks for stopping by!

I know how cold it must be, (because I'm in it right now too, but not as bad as what you guys have), however the ICE covering everyday life is an amazing looking photography concept...

PS: I love the first image
